The Fall 2011 Commencement ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9, at the Waco Convention Center. The convention center is located at 100 Washington Ave. (view map).
Because of construction at the convention center, you will need to park on the Franklin Ave. side and enter there. Additional parking may be available on the side road.
Graduates- On the day of commencement you need to arrive early to check in and fill out a graduate card by 5 p.m. Wear dark slacks/skirt and dark shoes under your black cap and gown. (See the TSTC Bookstore to purchase your cap and gown. You must have one to walk the stage!)
Family and friends can begin seating at 5:30 p.m. and the commencement will begin at 6 p.m. Leave all personal items with your family and friends or leave them in your vehicle. You will not be able to carry items such as purses or bags with you during commencement. Graduation should run approximately one and a half hours.
